it seems like i can't even take a nap at home without my dad getting pissed off...like come on don't assume I was on the computer when you didn't even check yourself :@
anyways Joy came back today!! went to the airport to pick her up with Pat. Apparently going through the customs for Canadians is self check now. That seems awesome. I haven't been out of the country for over 2 years already. Maybe I should go back to Taiwan next summer. But just knowing the existence of the hot humid weather there already makes me want to stay in Vancouver, even if there is nothing to do.
Sometime last week my family went to dimsum at Kirin near Richmond center with my cousin's family. Well my dad wanted to order lobster which is "long xia" in Chinese. Directly translated as dragon shrimp. We were all speaking in mandarin. My brother suddenly asked..."long xia" is that when "xia" aka shrimp grows up to be "long xia"? I bursted out laughing. Like what kind of retarded sense of logic is that. A shrimp turning into a lobster. Well I guess I can't blame him since he didn't know "long xia" was lobster. But it was still a pretty stupid comment.
Recently we also went biking at Stanely park. It was a Sunday morning so me, may, sandy and suzy went to dimsum in the morning. Then we decided to bus downtown to Stanely Park and rent bikes. Took my cousins along as well it was pretty fun but renting bikes down there is still quite pricy. Dang we rode around the entire park as fast as we could. But I was riding at the end and got stuck behind a whole crowd of slow people. I couldnt pass them as well since it was near the sea wall where the bike paths were extremely narrow. So I lost the front crowd aka Suzy, May, Sandy. Well they didn't turn and kept gong down to English Bay. So sort of lost them for a bit. Luckily they found their way back the bike rental on time. Since we only get student discount within the first 2 hours.
Well enough blogging for now. Its boring shyt anyways. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
